I found out that it is not enough for TAR
College student to improve their english only through college classes,
because college english classes is simply rushing to their finish
covering the syallabus and the lecturer don't really have time
to focus on each student learning progress and further improving them.
For example, the college english classes only covering parts of speech
in one classes and that is the end of the stories, other classes is to
test the student english ability based on test and coursework. I
can conclude that the purpose of TAR College English Classes is NOT to
Improve the student english ability but just to TEST the student english
ability.
I'm very thankful to Prof. Philip Loh effort to help
improving TARC & UTAR student English Ability by setting up a
Business English Centre here in TBR, It really helps me alot
in improving my grammar & writing skill thru his grammar classes
that we have more time to focus on each chapter of grammar compare to
college and the relatively small class size helps student to be more
focus.
Further more, I will recommend that the Conversation Class offered
by Prof. Philip Loh is a MUST for TARC & UTAR student to go to
improve their conversation skill,
as we devoted ourself more
into an english speaking enviroment and have more chances to speak will
definately improving your english as compare to Chinese Speaking
Enviroment in TARC & UTAR.
Lastly, i will once again thanks to Prof. Philips
Loh & TARBEC that with great effort to help our chinese educated
TARC & UTAR student to get a chance really get themself improve in
english thus to be more competative in the future.

I’m so glad that I was able to join the English class to improve my English level. Even though we all learn the language at secondary school, it is still not enough to prepare us in college especially now we need to speak in English which we seldom use back at home.
It was a big challenge. Therefore the English class helps to brush up my skill. I may still unable to speak fluently but at least now I have the confidence to speak in English. It is not easy to find tuition class for college students so I encourage you all to grab this opportunity.
